We are pleased to announce the arrival of Colorful Crowns. Born January 2010, our boutique knitting business is growing by leaps and bounds. Knitting became part of my life when my daughter was born in 1994- I found I couldn't put either one down; the baby or the knitting! Now Lauren helps design, choose color combinations, and helps knits each hat. Through the years, I have taught countless kids to knit as well as adults.

The "baby hat" became my signature gift as friends, colleagues and family members had babies. With the encouragement and support of all, we turned this into a boutique business that we hope will also meet your needs in finding the perfect baby gift. Each hat is named by a saying or life lesson. Every mom will find herself saying one or more of these precious sayings as she raises her child so we thought why not reinforce the life lessons and sayings here.

We use only 100% Egyptian Cotton yarn and sometimes can get organic yarn to work with. If you would like to order a customized hat like "a whimsical charmer" or an "architectural design", we'd be happy to work with you! We strive for complete customer satisfaction. If you find that your gift doesn't meet that need, we simply ask that you return the hat within 3-5 business days and we will work with you to achieve 100% satisfaction.
